Then position yourself about eighteen inches away from the wall, with your back to it. You need to lean back and bend your knees against the wall. Now slide down the wall until your thighs are perpendicular to the ground in a sitting stance. Remain in place for as long as you can tolerate it.

A basic weight lifting routine of high weight and lower repetitions is good for building muscles. To start, choose a muscle group. For this example, do the chest. To warm up, do a set using weights you can lift easily. You should be able to do 15-20 reps at your warm-up weight. Use heavier weights for your next set: do only 8 reps. For your third set, add five more pounds of weight.

When working out it is a good idea to count the number of repetitions you need to achieve, but do this by counting backwards from that number. This keeps you motivated as you are more easily able to visualize the end.
